Quran as God’s Thesis

If God had to have a thesis —though He doesn’t have to— to explain His existence, then every holy scripture ever revealed might be considered God's Thesis. These scriptures include the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, and the Quran.

But in today’s modern world, which among these four is truly worthy of being called God’s Thesis?

The answer is: only the Quran. Why?

Because the Quran possesses characteristics that are utterly unique and unmatched by any other scripture:

1. It supports rationality

The Quran is not anti-intellectual. It often urges people to think, reflect, and dive into the deepest meanings.

“Then do they not reflect upon the Qur'an?”
— Surah Muhammad (47): 24

2. It rejects blind dogma

The Quran does not endorse blind, dogmatic belief. On the contrary, it harshly criticizes the act of following something without knowledge, without reasoning, and merely out of tradition.

“And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart — about all those [one] will be questioned.”
— Surah Al-Isra (17): 36

3. It offers a clear and strong concept of God

The Quran teaches a concept of divinity that is simple, yet logically unshakable.

“Say: He is Allah, the One and Only.
Allah, the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,
And there is none comparable to Him.”

— Surah Al-Ikhlas (112): 1–4

4. It rejects inherited sin

There is no original sin. Every person is judged solely based on their own deeds — a much fairer system of accountability.

“Whoever does righteousness — it is for his own soul; and whoever does evil — it is against it. And your Lord is not ever unjust to [His] servants.”
— Surah Fussilat (41): 46

5. It clarifies the purpose of life

Just like every journey has a purpose, so does life. And the Quran explains it clearly.

“[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed — and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving.”
— Surah Al-Mulk (67): 2

6. It is timelessly relevant

The Quran is not just a book of ancient laws or history. It’s a living guide and mercy for all times.

“And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims.”
— Surah An-Nahl (16): 89

7. It is protected from change

This scripture is directly preserved by God. No updated editions or revisions are ever needed.

“Indeed, it is We who sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will be its guardian.”
— Surah Al-Hijr (15): 9

8. It contains no contradictions

One sign of the Quran’s authenticity is its absolute consistency — a trait no human-made book can claim.

“Do they not consider the Qur'an [with care]? Had it been from other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.”
— Surah An-Nisa (4): 82

9. It invites scrutiny and examination

Rather than fearing investigation, the Quran welcomes both scientific and philosophical inquiry.

“[This is] a Book We have revealed to you, full of blessing, so that they may reflect upon its verses...”
— Surah Sad (38): 29

10. It directly challenges its skeptics

The Quran doesn’t just demand belief. It intellectually challenges anyone who doubts its divine origin.

“And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful.
But if you do not — and you will never be able to — then fear the Fire...”

— Surah Al-Baqarah (2): 23–24

Conclusion

Given all the extraordinary features mentioned above, is it reasonable to believe that such a Quran was produced by a pagan Arab society 1400 years ago? Could a people entrenched in ignorance create a literary and intellectual miracle that still rivals modern thought after 14 centuries?

If not, then it’s no exaggeration to call the Quran God’s Thesis. And it only makes sense to follow it, so that our lives can become more meaningful and purposeful.

Assuming that a holy scripture should be an unchanging moral foundation — not a cultural relic, not a product of political compromise, and not a fragile collective interpretation — then the Quran is not just a holy book.
It is God’s Thesis.

Not because I believe blindly.
But because the Quran invites scrutiny, testing, and critical thinking — without fear of collapse.

The Quran offers the most stable and enduring foundation for life.
And that is why it excels — because no one can stand firm on a foundation that shifts and crumbles.

And if anyone wants to reject this conclusion,
they only need to do one thing:
find another scripture more deserving of that title.
